Logo design for Dr. Paredes’ nutrition practice. Her custom nutrition plans are based on portion control: the patient can eat what they want as long as it is in moderation.

She plans, schedules and delivers 3  custom meals, with 2 indulgent but small snacks every day.

The logo is a reminder for patients when they need to eat outside the plan (at an event, a restaurant or family gathering): on a plate about the size of the patient’s open hands, side-by-side, half the plate should be veggies, a quarter of it should be protein and another quarter carbs. The rest is a lot of water, drank throughout the day.

Black Heart Coffee is a design and package concept for gourmet coffee that can be brewed like tea, rendering a richer cup than instant coffee but still easy to brew away from home.
‘Original Seed’ is a reference to the strong taste of the original blends. The name and anatomically correct heart, are a statement on gaining true coffee lovers’ affections. 

Per brief requirements, the pyramid-shaped package breaks with the overused 6-sided box pattern frequent in packaging, it is  also biodegradable, printed on soy-based ink and easy to recycle; contained in thin cellophane to retain aroma while it finds its way into cupboards and kitchenettes everywhere.
